Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Pitchstage (the “Service”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — your email address and authentication details (we support Google sign-in and email magic links).
- Content you upload — screenshots, outlines, brand colors, and the text you enter to generate your launch assets.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store your full card number.
- Usage and diagnostic data — basic analytics and error reports to keep the Service working and improve it.
2. How we use it
We use your information to provide and operate the Service, generate your outputs, process payments, secure accounts, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sub-processors
To run the Service we share data with trusted providers strictly as needed: authentication and database (Supabase), object storage and CDN (Cloudflare R2), AI generation and transcription (Microsoft Azure OpenAI), payments (Stripe), and hosting (Railway). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.
4. Pitchstage Connect (browser extension)
The optional Pitchstage Connect browser extension lets you capture an app you are already signed in to. When you click “Connect”, it reads the active tab’s session — cookies (including secure http-only cookies) and localStorage — for the app you choose, and sends it once over HTTPS to Pitchstage, authorized by a single-use, short-lived token. It only acts on the active tab, and only when you click it — never in the background. Pitchstage’s worker uses that session once to open your app and capture your demo, then discards it: the extension does not store your session, and Pitchstage does not persist it. The extension is optional — you can also capture by uploading screenshots.
When you record with Pitchstage, the extension captures the screen of the tab you pick in Chrome’s own share dialog (up to 3 minutes) together with where you click and scroll — element names only, never keystrokes or anything you type — and uploads both once over HTTPS, authorized by the same single-use token, to become a scene in your own project.
5. Retention
We keep your content and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your projects, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at [email protected].
